Dialogue Project for Change Through Art and Culture

Dialogue for Change through Culture and Art” Project, whose short name is elele, aims to reduce polarization, discrimination and othering between young women and young men through art and culture, to encourage individual freedoms and to increase dialogue for change.

elele Project is supported within the scope of the European Union’s Civil Society Tool and Media Programme, “Fundamental Rights for Culture” and it is run by the consortium of the Flying Broom Foundation and the State Theater Opera and Ballet Members Foundation under the leadership of the Youth Services Center Association.

The ELELE project has two main target groups:      

      Young women and young men aged between 15-29     

      Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) operating in the field of culture and arts in line with the purpose of the project

The activities of the project are grouped under three complementary titles: “Local Art Events”, elele Dialogue Platform and “ELELE SUPPORT”:

ELELE SUPPORT

ELELE Civil Society Organizations Capacity Building Grant Programme is a sub-grant programme that aims to strengthen and increase the capacities of CSOs operating in the field of culture and arts in Turkey in line with the purpose of our project. Within the scope of this programme, two separate open calls will be announced during the project and 1.000.000 Euro grant support will be provided to the third parties.

Local Art Events

In Diyarbakır, Erzincan, Gaziantep, Malatya and Mardin, which are located in the Euphrates and Tigris basin and have witnessed many civilizations, young people from different origins and faiths come together through local art workshops, performing arts events, events in the mother tongue, cultural festivals, special day celebrations and workshops.

elele Dialogue Platform

Saying YES TO ART for a more livable world, the ” elele Dialogue Platform” supporting the cultural life in Diyarbakır, Erzincan, Gaziantep, Malatya and Mardin, contributes to the activities to be held in these provinces, and ensures the development and consolidation of intercultural and interfaith dialogue.
